What You'll Do
User Research & Product Discovery: Engage with users through surveys, interviews, and testing to understand their needs and pain points. Gather insights and translate feedback into actionable product improvements.
Market & Competitor Analysis: Research industry trends and analyze competitor products to identify opportunities for our AI-powered apps to stand out and better serve users.
Feature Ideation & Scoping: Brainstorm new features and enhancements with the team. Write product specs and user stories to clearly communicate what to build and why, ensuring design and engineering teams have clear direction.
Project Coordination: Work closely with designers and developers to bring features from concept to launch. Coordinate timelines, clarify requirements, and ensure the final product meets user needs and vision.
Product Documentation & Iteration: Maintain product documentation and roadmaps (Notion, PRDs, release checklists). Monitor feature performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate to continuously improve the user experience.
Requirements
Student Status: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program. This role is for a working student (~15–20 hours/week alongside your studies). Your field of study is less important than your skills and passion, though relevant fields like computer science, business, design, etc. are a plus.
Product Experience: Some exposure to product management or product development – through an internship, side project, or relevant coursework. You understand how software products are built and have contributed in some way before.
User-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding user problems and curiosity about what makes products work. You enjoy gathering feedback and researching what users truly need.
Analytical Skills: Comfortable with research and basic data analysis. You can draw insights from user feedback or usage metrics and base decisions on evidence.
Strong Communication: Clear expression in writing and conversation. Whether drafting a feature spec, talking with users, or explaining requirements to engineers, you know how to get your point across.
Organized & Proactive: Good time management to balance school and work. You take ownership of tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively address problems or opportunities you identify.
