What You'll Do
Full-Stack Development: Maintain and enhance our web app's frontend (Next.js/React) and backend (Firebase) to deliver new features and improvements.
AI Integration: Research, experiment with, and compare state-of-the-art AI models to meet our needs. Integrate the best AI solutions into our app to make it smarter and more useful for users.
Optimize and Refactor: Continuously improve the app's performance, stability, and code quality through thorough testing, profiling, and peer code reviews. Tackle bugs or bottlenecks and ensure a smooth user experience.
Requirements
Experience with React & Next.js: Proficiency in modern front-end development using React/Next.js and TypeScript to build rich user interfaces.
Firebase & Backend Know-How: Strong experience with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions, etc.) and general web backend development.
State Management: Ability to manage complex client-side state in a large application.
Security Awareness: Familiarity with web app security best practices (protecting user data, handling keys/credentials, writing secure database rules, etc.).
API Integrations: Experience integrating third-party APIs and services (e.g. for payments, analytics, or other SaaS tools) into applications.
Student Status: Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science (or related field). This role is for a working student (~20 hours/week alongside your studies).
